Hometown INN

We stayed at Hometown Inn while driving home from Ohio to Florida. I spent a couple hours reading reviews on other motels in the area and was disappointed that even the higher priced ones had numerous bad reviews. Then I read the reviews on Hometown Inn, and I knew I found a good place for us to sleep for the night. The front desk clerks were very pleasant and said they had bought the place a few years ago, and have been fixing it up and renovating it. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. It was spotless. The floors are laminate (no nasty carpet!), the bed was very comfortable, the sheets and duvet were pristine white, and the bathroom was very clean. We could tell that the new owners take pride in their motel and are working hard to fix it up. It was quiet and safe. If you’re looking for a clean, no frills place to stay at an excellent price, we highly recommend Hometown Inn!

We stayed here December 4 - December 5, 2025. Budget Friendly! Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very nice! Would recommend this location and would choose to stay here when we are back in this area

They had good reviews on booking.com and for the price the place was great. The rooms were clean and modern. The place is dog friendly and you can't beat it for the price. I stayed there twice on my drive from Atlanta to Saginaw and back and will stay there again when I pass through in October.

Excellent price for a room! Hotel was clean, lots of hot water and reservation desk very kind. We left an item behind and was able to retrieve it 5 days later! It had been found and set aside for us. That’s unusually excellent service! Kindness counts!

I happened upon this property mostly by accident, and I’ve never stayed at a motel before, but I have to say my stay was not bad at all. Sunny, the owner (I believe), was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The bed was clean and the room was bug-free. The shower was clean, as well as the toilet. There is a fridge, tv, & the air conditioner worked very well! I appreciated that the floors are laminate and not carpet. All of the linens smelled of bleach. I really did feel safe sleeping there at night. This Inn was affordable and clean.

We had a very hassle free comfortable room for a week. It was very clean, with everything we needed. Owners are very friendly and went out of the way to make sure we were happy. I would highly recommend this place and will be back on our next visit to family in Berea. Prices are great, rooms clean and comfortable, and no worries about safety in the area. Very calm and peaceful stay.
